USJ in North America

The USJ North America Office, established in 2019 under the patronage of Prof. Salim Daccache, SJ, serves as an important bridge between Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) and its distinguished partners, alumni, and benefactors in the United States and Canada. This office plays a pivotal role in advancing USJ’s international mission by strengthening the University’s presence in North America, fostering collaborations with academic, research, and social institutions, and driving initiatives to strengthen these partnerships.

A key focus of the Office is alumni engagement. It works closely with the Alumni Office and the Federation of USJ Alumni Associations in Beirut to establish and support alumni chapters across the region. Moreover, the Office significantly contributes to resource development by identifying strategic opportunities and leading fundraising initiatives, with a particular focus on scholarships and capacity-building for the University.

The Office also assists recent USJ graduates in navigating the North American job market and provides vital support to USJ representatives during their official visits to the United States and Canada.
